ABOUT ME
Beatrix Eichert convinces through an exceptionally precise and affirming attitude that conveys security and clarity to her patients. Her first career path led her, after studying theology, into a long-term role in education. After a family break, she decided at the beginning of her 40s to study psychology. What helped her were her interpersonal competencies and the will to demonstrate that the extraordinary is still possible in the best years of life. During the academic deepening of her studies, her drive was very high to one day work as a private practice therapist, accompanying people in challenging life situations.
Her own research work as part of the WATCH study at the University Hospital Jena, the long-term psychotherapeutic care of people with Long COVID, and experience with neurodivergent life stories as well as with cancer patients and older people in rehabilitation contexts underscore her expertise. Her interest and commitment to current and complex health topics drive her. This holistic perspective makes her a competent contact person for people of all ages, from young adults to those in higher life stages. Her approachability and natural sympathy quickly foster trust in the therapeutic relationship. As a mother of four adult children, she brings deep life experience and a pronounced sensitivity to the challenges of her patients.
